In recent years, China Building Materials Engineering Group has focused on the national green development concept, insisted on innovation and deeply cultivated global photovoltaic power generation projects. On the morning of October 9th, local time, the Portuguese Solara4 220 MW large-scale photovoltaic power station under the general contracting of China National Building Materials International Engineering Group Co., Ltd. held a power-on ceremony as scheduled at the project site located in southern Portugal. This is the largest photovoltaic power station in Europe with the largest single installed capacity. It is also the largest photovoltaic power station project built by Chinese companies in Portugal to effectively respond to the global epidemic. reported that Portugal’s photovoltaic power station can generate 382 billion watt-hours of electricity in Solara4, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 200,000 households. While providing Portugal with efficient and environmentally friendly energy every year, it effectively reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 330,000 tons. During the construction period, the team overcame the impact of the epidemic and successfully completed a series of work, such as engineering design, engineering construction, equipment installation and commissioning, with international first-class independent core technology and equipment, which fully complied with European standards and local government norms.
